MGI Antes features

Presentation Notification (PN)

This feature allows freight agents to notify customs of the presentation of goods at the vessel’s Temporary Storage Area (RTA). The goal is to receive the ANTES MRN for each unloaded good so that customs clearance can be processed.

Temporary Storage Declaration (DDT or TSD)

This feature allows operators to submit, modify, or cancel temporary storage declarations (DDT) based on manifest information, either in advance or after the arrival of goods. The goal is to complete the DDT and its presentation to obtain the ANTES MRN for each unloaded item, enabling customs clearance to be carried out.

Tracking goods in temporary storage facilities

Thanks to this feature, operators and relevant authorities can monitor the status of goods stored in a temporary storage facility (IST).

I am a declarant; am I authorized to clear goods if pre-clearance formalities have not been completed?

Yes, but the declaration cannot be validated until the pre-clearance operations have been completed and authorized.

Can I modify or cancel temporary storage declarations in advance or after the arrival of goods?

The goal is to complete the Temporary Storage Declaration (TSD) upon presentation of the goods so that customs clearance can be performed. Therefore, it is possible to modify or cancel the declaration before the goods arrive.

What is the purpose of the MGI Antes service?

MGI Antes helps operators and competent authorities monitor the status of goods in a temporary storage facility (IST).
