4TRAX: PCS and IoT for secure supply chains.

The 4TRAX project involved MGI experimenting with the integration into the AP+ Port Community System of data from an IoT-based solution consisting of an intelligent patch developed by Traxens, positioned on containers from the CMA CGM company.

MGI developed a module that communicates with the platform centralizing sensor data to inform multimodal container transport actors and the end client in real time about events related to the transport of goods, while providing legal proof through administrative and commercial information. A demonstrator was implemented for exports from Marseille to Algeria of containers carrying medicines, sensitive and high-value goods with pre-transport by rail. These high-value goods require strong traceability and reduced port transit time.
